Youth Red Cross Society of SPTC, Rayavaram was started on 20-09-2004 with Thiru K.Rajendran, Lect/Civil as the Project Co-ordinator.. Every student of this institution are members of YRC society.
Mr. G.Senthilkumar Lect/EEE is the Project Co-ordinator @ Present.
With its 175 National Societies operating in widely different contexts and its tens of millions of members, the movement is somewhat mosaic. Moreover, its work consists essentially of practical, day-to-day and often improvised activities.
